Leadership and Engagement Makes Our Community Stronger
Communities thrive when they have stronger leaders, stronger organizations, and residents who are actively engaged and informed. That’s why Impact Alamance is committed to investing in and supporting a stronger Alamance County.
Civically engaged communities are healthier communities. When people know and trust each other they are better equipped to solve problems and create the conditions for everyone to thrive.
Our stronger initiatives are designed to support resident engagement, nonprofit capacity, community partnerships, and local action.
Stronger Initiatives
Leadership Institute
Ten months of workshops, training, and coaching for nonprofit and government leaders across Alamance County. Participants build skills to advance their organizations and the relationships to collaborate.
ACRE Co-Lab
Each year, a cohort of local leaders spends 12 weeks together examining how opportunity is distributed in Alamance County. They leave with a clearer view of the barriers people face and stronger relationships across organizations.
For Alamance
Residents shared what mattered most to them. In response, grassroots action teams formed across the county to address the concerns their neighbors raised, supported by ongoing training and coaching to sustain the effort.
The Alamance Fabric
People can’t participate in what they don’t know about. In partnership with NC Local, The Alamance Fabric delivers local news and community reporting so residents can follow the decisions shaping the county.
