Impact Alamance is a health foundation serving Alamance County. We help individuals and organizations work together to address common challenges — investing in the people, places and systems that shape community well-being.
We are a supporting organization of Cone Health. While Cone Health Philanthropy serves as Cone Health’s fundraising entity, Impact Alamance invests resources in Alamance County to improve health and quality of life across the community.
Healthcare matters. However, health is also shaped by the places people live, learn, work, play, and connect. That is why our work supports healthy environments, strong schools, community connection, and local systems that help children and families thrive. Research shows that these factors strongly affect individual and community health outcomes.

Our mission comes to life through partnerships and investments that address the conditions shaping daily life in Alamance County. We support community efforts to expand access to resources, strengthen local organizations, build leadership, and help residents work together on shared challenges.
This work takes time. Lasting change requires trust, collaboration, and a willingness to keep showing up with community partners. We are honored to work alongside people and organizations across Alamance County to build solutions together.

Our History
Impact Alamance was founded in May 2013 after Alamance Regional Medical Center merged with Cone Health. The original $54 million investment represented Cone Health’s commitment to improving the health of Alamance County.
Today, Impact Alamance continues that commitment through community investments, partnerships, and programs that support long-term health and well-being.
