Impact Alamance is a community health foundation created from the merger of Alamance Regional and Cone Health. We partner and invest to achieve health, hope and prosperity for everyone in our county. We believe that everyone should be able to live healthy and fulfilling lives—no matter their race, gender, or economic status.

That is why we strategically invest in community efforts to make sure Alamance County becomes a place where everyone can succeed. Together, we are building solutions to our collective challenges.

What We Fund

At Impact Alamance, we believe in putting our values into action, and that by working together, we can build a healthier, better prepared, more just, and prosperous future for us all. We invest $2 million annually in local nonprofits and programs that strengthen systems and environments, ensuring all children and their families have what they need to create a strong foundation that leads to lasting results.

Our Three Main Focus Areas

Healthier

We work to secure a solid foundation of resources by tending to the systems that strengthen our community’s physical, mental and emotional health. We partner to create healthy outdoor spaces like community parks that provide places for children to play and families to connect. Our Wellness Collaborative provides a space for community leaders to improve the health of Alamance County through policy change.

Smarter

We are committed to building the collective awareness and skills needed to take on the challenges Alamance County faces in the 21st century. We fund programs and initiatives that prepare students for school and careers, enhance the capacity of our school systems, and strengthen the work of our educators.

Stronger

We believe we are stronger, more capable and more resilient together than we are alone. We support a stronger Alamance County by funding programs and initiatives that strengthen community partnerships and build a robust network of supporting organizations.
