Ready Freddy
A successful kindergarten year sets children up for success in elementary school and beyond.
Ready Freddy helps make that strong start possible by supporting pre-k children and their families as they prepare for kindergarten.
Ready Freddy is an interactive, fun program that helps children practice skills that will make them more comfortable and confident in kindergarten. It includes:
- Helping them get familiar with classroom routines and expectations.
- Early literacy and learning activities.
- Social-emotional learning and relationship building.
- Hands-on exploration and play.
- Opportunities to practice being independent, building confidence
Help for Families
Kindergarten is also a time of transition for families. It includes new drop-off and pick-up routines, a changing social environment, and new expectations for parents.
Ready Freddy offers families resources and support, so parents and other caregivers can help their child succeed.
Program dates, location, daily schedule, and registration information will be announced spring of 2027.
