Impact Alamance Announces 2026 Flex Fund Grants Supporting Nonprofit Operations Across Alamance County

Impact Alamance is proud to announce the approval of $100,000 in general operations support for 20 nonprofit organizations across Alamance County through the Flex Fund grant cycle. These grants are made possible through the support of Honda and are intended to help local 501(c)(3) nonprofits enhance their ability to serve the community by supporting essential operational costs.

The Flex Fund is a competitive, one-time grant opportunity designed to assist nonprofits with general operating expenses. By easing the financial burden of day-to-day administrative and operational costs, the grants allow organizations to focus more fully on their mission-driven work. Awards range from $2,500 to $7,000 each and may be used to support a range of expenses, including staff salaries, office supplies, rent and utilities, technology, insurance, professional development, and more.

All funded organizations have demonstrated a commitment to addressing one or more of the social determinants of health, as identified in the 2024 Alamance County Community Health Assessment. Together, these organizations are tackling the root causes that influence health and opportunity—from economic stability and access to services to social connection—helping ensure that individuals and families across Alamance County can thrive.

“We came to Alamance in August of 2020, and immediately Impact Alamance started supporting us,” said Ronnie Dunevant, Director of Roots and Wings and a 2026 Flex Fund recipient. “There is no way we would be able to do what we do effectively without Impact Alamance.”
