Renowned Speaker, Author, and Innovator Rich Harwood Brings Healing and Hope To Unleash the Potential of Alamance County
May 5,2022 (Burlington, NC) – Impact Alamance will welcome Richard C. Harwood, renowned speaker, author, and President and Founder of The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation, to Ebenezer United Church of Christ on May 12, 2022, at 6:00 pm for an inspiring keynote address featuring insights from his groundbreaking new report, Civic Virus: Why Polarization Is a Misdiagnosis. This event is free and open to the public.
Recently featured on MSNBC’s Meet the Press Daily with Chuck Todd, Rich Harwood has been touring the nation to help communities make sense of what’s going on in America and work together to create a more hopeful path forward. He is bringing this message of Healing & Hope to Alamance County for an inspiring event to kick off a multiyear partnership with Impact Alamance toward finding ways to build bridges and ignite community-led transformation.

We’re excited to kick off this initiative and create community dialogue that will generate the energy within our community members and leaders to spark change, leading to a more hopeful, equitable, fair, just, and inclusive path forward in Alamance County,” said Impact Alamance President, Tracey Grayzer.
The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization that for over 30 years has equipped people, organizations, communities, and networks with the tools to bridge divides, create a culture of shared responsibility, and build a community’s civic capacities. The Institute’s work has spread to all 50 U.S. states and to 40 countries.
