Impact Alamance will give the United Way of Alamance County $50,000 for its #Help4Alamance relief fund, Impact Alamance said Wednesday, April 15.
“Our primary goal with this initial investment is to provide resources to agencies and institutions that are directly serving our county’s most vulnerable populations,” Impact Alamance President Tracey Grayzer said. “We know that the United Way is developing a process for these funds that will serve those needs.”
On Monday, the United Way announced mini grants available for 501c3 nonprofit organizations for immediate and short-term assistance during the COVID-19 crisis. The organizations must be serving Alamance County and providing assistance for basic needs, such as food, shelter and financial stability.
