Impact Alamance Invests $100,000 in Health and Wellness Equipment for Alamance-Burlington Public Schools

In August of 2024, Impact Alamance’s Board of Directors approved $100,000 in funding to enhance physical activity and health education in Alamance County. This funding launched a new grant cycle in partnership with the Alamance-Burlington School System, open to middle and high school physical education and health teachers. The Health and Wellness Equipment Grant offers eligible teachers the opportunity to purchase new supplies and equipment to enrich their programs.

By equipping schools with the resources needed to create dynamic and engaging programs, this funding initiative helps improve student learning outcomes and encourages lifelong healthy habits among students.
